Today we have something different, something special.
There's no real way to categorize this, so let's just let the title and the podcast do the talking.
Obviously this is something that Xenu has created, so after you listen, show him some love.

Xenu Sez, Episode 4: Pen And paper RPGs
In today's episode, Xenu discusses pen and paper RPGs.
He covers the overall premise of such games, discusses the various types and genres available, and shares some of his own experiences with gaming.
He has also included some questions at the end that would make for some great comments and emails.
Come on....we know there's a few of you listeners out there. We want to hear from you!

NOTES:
- There is a lot of information on the web about gaming and if you would like to know more I would recommend the following:
-Have Games, Will Travel - my favorite podcast about board, card, and RPG gaming, hosted by Paul Tevis. He's been at this much longer than we have, so if you're interested, click through the shows to hear about some games that you may like.
-A Fistful of Games - Paul Tevis' blog (note the theme with his titles) about gaming, for those of us who really enjoy geeking out about games and reading about others doing the same. This site also has some great links to other gamers and resources about games.
-BoardGameGeek - The best gaming database and fan community on the internet.

Reggie and Calvin: A New Voice
See?
I told you we'd be back.
A little later than I expected, true, but we're here.
This episode marks the first of a three part introductory series of our ongoing...most likely never ending...series of Star Wars discussions.
You should be able to tell what we're doing, but just in case, Calvin, myself, Xenu, and Cal's brother, Abe, are playing a game of euchre using Star Wars cards. The characters on those cards are used as the starting point for our discussions.
Don't know what euchre is?
Move to Michigan.
ENJOY!

-Other awesomeness referenced in this episode:
-Quentin Tarantino
-Futurama
-Family Guy
-Robot Chicken
-Spinal Tap
-Battlestar Galactica
-X-Men

We're Still Here.....Somewhere.....
Hey everybody, I know it's been a while, but I just want to let all of you know that we're still here, we're still working on shows, and we'll be releasing them soon.
I know I've said that before, but I really really mean it....probably by next weekend, but hopefully before that.
The usual technical and life issues have gotten in the way...again...but we have been working on some new ideas and some fun projects that you'll get to hear shortly.
I've noticed that people are still subscribed and have been clicking through our existing posts and episodes, and I greatly appreciate that.
Just hang in there a little while longer.

Xenu Sez, Episode 3: Anime
I'll let the show do the talking on this one, mostly because I don't know jack shit about the subject.
To answer Xenu's question at the end, however, the anime that I enjoy includes Samurai Champloo, Neon Genesis (until the end makes no sense) , and as lame as it is, I'm really enjoying the original Americanized Saturday morning version of Space-battleship Yamato known to us as Starblazers. I also like Miyazaki's movies and the anime version of Metropolis is absolutely amazing.
And now, on with the show!

Reggie and Calvin, Episode 4: Smorgasbord, Smorgasbooooooord!!!!
This is part one of the movie show.
With this show and the next, we will finally be finished covering the things that we wanted to discuss in August.
It's a day later than I had hoped because I have been rocking out to Guitar Hero 3.....not well and on easy, but rocking out just the same.
Despite all that, it still has kind of a Halloween theme.
Enjoy!

Happy Halloween!!!!
I've got a special Halloween treat for you guys tonight.
It's the Halloween episode of Escape Pod from 2005.
Click on this link (or that link) to learn more about Escape Pod, it's the best sci-fi story cast out there right now, and it's kind of the show that really got me thinking about doing all of this stuff in the first place.
Just trust me, it's totally worth it.
So here it is:
The Great Old Pumpkin
(yeah, it's exactly what you think it's about)
--Reggie
P.S. Part one of the movie show will be posted either tomorrow or Friday night....I just really felt like I needed something to post today.
