A Quick Correction

Since I'm actually about 2 years behind on this podcast thing, my time lines are still a little mixed up because I'm literally learning about new people and ideas, and everything that has come before, every single day.

Scott Sigler's first podcast novel was Earthcore. And it WAS the first podcast novel. The Novel I am referring to in the last podcast was Ancestor. And if any of you remember those awesome old Nintendo football games where monsters and stuff would rip each others limbs off, his last Podcast: The Rookie, is worth a listen as well.

I should really take five minutes to do research before doing a show instead of after.....

P.S. Since I'm posting more random (yet oh so awesome) links, check this out: Neverending White Lights

i'm surprised you liked that band. they had a single out a year or two ago, but i haven't from them (maybe just him?) since. i think it's mostly because it's so goth/emo stylized, too, at least visually. it sounds pretty airy and ambient, which can be nice, but i checked the myspace page, and i'm a little turned off because of how he bills himself. his "sounds like" section reads "A bird dying in your arms while its lifeless body mirrors your fragile heart." yuck. still, i loved "The Grace" when it came out, and i'll listen to the new album, but only for free. which, as your link has shown, is entirely kosher.

still, when did you start liking goth-wanabe's?

Haha, I don't care what he....they are trying to be, I dig the sound. I'm entirely fine not knowing anything else about it.

Labels are so meaningless, you know that.

Still....that "sounds like" bit is really lame.

Yeah, you probably just ruined it for me, you jackass.

[ And it WAS the first podcast novel.]

Actually, it wasn't. It was the first podcast ONLY novel, however. Prior to that, there were a few other books being relased in serialized audio form, but these had seen some sort of publication prior to that.

So Scott has a "first", but not the one you are thinking of. :)
